I can’t remember the last time I saw an Aerostar that wasn’t a complete rust bucket.

I actually did see a nice one the other day but they are mostly trash. From my DOTS the other day, a trash one ahead of the Jeep:

I saw one exactly like that minus the tasteful mag wheels a few days ago. Not even any clearcoat failure!
Most of them are absolutely trashed though. I once saw one that had the rear bodywork made out of poorly spray painted cardboard with some wood supports. Yes, really.

I’ve seen one with sheet metal that looked like it was stolen from their neighbors shed. At least that was metal though.

The owner is clearly one of us since they just bought it.

A long one no less. I swear back in the day a friend’s parents had one of these, LWB and AWD. Another friend’s parents had an Aerostar conversion van, don’t see those anymore.

Nice wheels too.

Yeah, I’m not convinced that the cardboard and wood really improved the looks but it was a thing.

It should be in a museum

I used to help a guy that had an automatic door service company that used a LWB AWD version as his work van.

Hell I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen one at all. Of course, here in Iowa, most non-special vehicles from the mid-90s and older have either returned back to earth or were sent to the crusher.
